Rustic Ranch at Little Hills Wedding | San Ramon, CA

Euge and Joe | Little Hills Ranch | San Ramon, CA

Eugénie (Euge) and Joe’s wedding style could best be described as rustic elegance. The details were simple, yet beautiful. The real focus of the day was the couple, their deep love for one another, and the closeness and genuine joy expressed by their families and friends. It was a true joy to get to know Euge and Joe and their families and to photograph these incredible relationships in the gorgeous outdoor setting of Little Hills Ranch in San Ramon, CA. Euge and Joe’s wedding day incorporated a lot of DIY elements put together beautifully by their family and friends, with the most impressive element being the stunning three tier wedding cake and dessert table crafted entirely by the bride’s Mom!

We are so excited to say that this wedding was featured on the amazing DIY wedding blog Something Turqoise.

Before heading over to the Little Hills Ranch for the ceremony, Euge and her bridesmaids spent some quality time together at the Hyatt House in San Ramon. The shared some wine as they had their hair and make-up done. Two of Euge’s good friends served as the hair and makeup artists. For some exta fun, Euge gifted each of the girls a headband that said “bridesmaid”. Euge and her bridal party arrived at the Ranch at Little Hills by limo and got dressed in the San Ramon wedding venue’s adorable little bridal cottage.

Euge chose a boho style crochet lace dress which she paired with a comfy pair of shoes and a mid length veil. For her bridesmaids, she chose mismatched styles in varied shades of chianti. The wedding flowers were made by Joe’s mom and her friend and they wer just gorgeous. The floral arrangements were made of various varieties of white flowers with lots of light pink and pops of dark pink. Euge’s bouquet incorporated succulents for a really awesome look. Joe wore a blue suit, while the groomsmen wore grey. All the men wore chianti colored ties to match the bridesmaids.

The ceremony site at the Ranch at Little Hills is beyond stunning! It is covered with beautiful trees that, at sunset, let this amazing soft light throught. The wedding ceremony took place right before sunset which was absolutely perfect. Euge walked down the aisle with her dad and Joe’s face just beamed with joy when he saw her. The couple’s officiant was a family friend too and Euge said that being married by him felt amazing!

The reception was held outside with seating under a tent and the entire area was covered in string lights which added nicely to the romantic feel of the evening. The couple chose to forego traditional flower centerpieces and instead go with with unique and creative DIY herb themed centerpieces and tables. One of my Euge’s best friends made all of the signs around the venue which added even more personal DIY touches to the celebration.

Euge’s mom made the beautiful all white three tier wedding cake and an impressive and delicious array Euge’s favorite sweet treats from her childhood for yet another amazing personal touch to the couple’s wedding day. The evening was full of celebration with touching speeches and lots of dancing.

It was a pleasure to be a part of Euge and Joe’s wedding celebration at the Ranch at Little Hills. We were also so impressed by the amazing talent of Euge and Joe’s family and friends and how they all came together to make this wedding truly remarkable. We are so very happy for Euge and Joe and know they will have an amazing future together!
